In addition to performing, Jo ran her own production company ShoWorks Entertainment for 4 years in LA and NY, writing & producing original scripts for film & stage.
Their films won awards at various festivals and their production of John Pollono’s dark comedy “Small Engine Repair,” played to sold out houses at The Broadwater Second Stage Theater in Hollywood.
The company was also a proud sponsor of the
“Don’t Wait. Create! Award” at the annual Hollywood Fringe Festival for original and innovative work from 2017-2019.
Now back in Cape Town, Jo has launched her new bespoke entertainment and production company My Best Work Productions, where she will continue to produce, write and direct.
Jo is a co owner of Waterfront Theatre School in Cape Town where she teaches acting, drama and dance to young actors.
