Jo Galloway is a professional actress, singer, dancer, writer and international voice artist. Originally from sunny South Africa, Jo has made the move out to the States to continue her career.

Coming from a family of actors, Jo didn't have much choice as to what she would end up doing with her life. Starting at the age of 4 in the school nativity play (insisting on playing Mary, because she was the only character with a line), continuing all through High School and College and eventually on to the main stage of life.

Qualified as an International Tap and Modern Dance teacher through the I.S.T.D London, as well as an actress and singer, the first "step" professionally started in Musical Theatre at the age of 19, where she performed lead roles in shows such as " “Cats", "The Full Monty," and "Hairspray,” among others. Jo then moved into straight theatre and comedy, performing the role of Helena in John Osborne's "Look Back In Anger," and comic farces such as "Boeing-Boeing," and "Perfect Wedding." She has also co written three original productions "Dick & I" - a parody on Richard the III, "Happily Ever Laughter," and "The Fugard Fest of Comedy," which was performed at the prestigious Athol Fugard Theatre in Cape Town. Jo was nominated twice for her stage performances - the role of Demeter in "Cats," followed by Amber in "Hairspray." Over the past few years in LA Jo has co produced and starred in the Neil LaBute play “Some Girls,” for the Secret Rose Theatre in NoHo, and “The Fabulous Fables of Aesop” in Santa Monica, which she also directed.

After landing her first movie role in "Hope After Hope" for Holland Pictures, she went on to tour internationally for 2 years with various productions. All the while, Jo was choreographing for numerous Corporate events and Commercials. She has many Television Commercials and Infomercials (Hosting) to her credits, including her own online show “From Hollywood With Jo Galloway” for TMTv. She was also a series regular and co writer for a number of episodes of the television series "Sketch U Later” and part of the award-winning cast of the TV Drama “Intersextions” for South African television. Jo is currently continuing her work in Television, Film and Theatre in LA and NYC.

A well-known and experienced international Voice Artist with years of experience, Jo has managed to stop the voices in her head from driving her slightly mental by voicing characters and accents for over 50 clients. This madness, accompanied by general "hard sell" and "soft sell" radio and television commercial VO's. Schizophrenia is starting to set in, so you'll probably need to hire her before the end of the year. She is currently voicing characters for commercials, Disney and video games in the USA.

Jo is also co owner and director of the educational production company ShoWorks Entertainment is now also responsible for writing, creating, directing and producing in-house onscreen content for children at Hollywood Casting and Film Studios in Hollywood.
